His historic victory at the All India University Karate Championship 2020 has not only brought glory to Rajasthan but has also etched his name in the history of Indian university sports.

1. A Historic Win at All India University Karate Championship

From 8th to 10th January 2020, at the prestigious

Sathyabama University, Chennai, Dinesh represented Shekhawati University, Sikar and clinched the Gold Medal in the -60 kg category. He became the first-ever athlete from Rajasthan to win a gold medal at All India University level in karate. His performance was a blend of strength, skill, and strategy as he defeated participants from seven universities across India to secure the top position. The victory was made possible under the guidance of Shekhawati University Karate Coach Ramesh Kumar Saini, whose mentorship was instrumental in this success.

2. Mardatu Bari – A Village Rejoices

Dinesh hails from the village of Mardatu Bari, located in Sikar district, Rajasthan. His achievement turned this humble village into a hub of celebration and pride. Upon his return, the entire village came together to organize a grand rally with DJ and drums, celebrating their hero. It was a historic moment for the village—a son of the soil making waves at the national level.

3. A Hero’s Welcome at Shekhawati University

After his monumental win, Shekhawati University honored Dinesh with a celebratory welcome.A rally was organized on campus with faculty, students, and staff cheering for the champion.

Behind every champion stands a proud family. Dinesh’s father, Shri Ganapat Singh Chaudhary, and mother, Smt. Subhita Devi, were overwhelmed with joy and pride.
